The Chair was my debut performance in Keidas, Turku, in 2022. It was recreated for an audience for recording purposes in Taiteiden Talo, Turku in 2023.
The performance is inspired by a practice done in gestalt therapy, in which you imagine a person in a chair, and have an imaginary conversation with them. The motive is to let yourself feel the emerging emotions without repression and express them. So shouting, crying and being loud is allowed.
