Write Your Secret On Me was performed by myself and Inari Kaurilahti in Kalevi Suopursu’s VHS-club in Sodankylä’s old bus station during the Midnight Sun Film Festival. In Write Your Secret On Me, I and Inari, nude and blindfolded, inhabited the space for two hours with a song running in loop on the background. The audience had an been given guidance to use our skin as paper to write their secrets on.
I and Inari moved in the space unaware of the surroundings. The performance symbolized exposing, hiding, being seen and unseen at the same time.
The performance was invigilatedby Sini Silveri, who also took the pictures.
