Table score was a score that a wrote on a wooden board which I made into a table. It said ”find an object nearby and place on table”. The piece was in Jet Ski, a group exhibition that was in a special forgotten empty land space in Turku, near harbour, for a weekend in July, 2024. I consider it a no-performance performance.
The table transformed beautifully throughout the weekend. It held on it living creatures, trash, glass, etc. People installed, spent time arranging their objects. Someone told me it made them them more aware of their surroundings, and made them want to put the most special, different object on the table than anyone else.
There was a worm invasion on the board due to a mushroom that was put on the table. Little tiny maggots ate the mushroom for the friday, saturday, sunday. On monday when I came to pick up the board, collect the trash and return the biodegradeables to the ground, the mushroom was nearly finished.
